‘Chaar Bagh: The Gardens of Heaven’, this graveyard in Shikarpur reflects the ultimate state of rest for those departed.

An existing well on site was incorporated into the design to create waterways that run through the site. These connect the prayer hall, foyers and mourning spaces.

The waterways divide the site in four and create four gardens, in which the gravestones are conceptualized as flowers.

Commissioned by the landlord in Bhiria City,his space, shaded with bougainvillea and split by water channels, serves as an ideal state of rest for those beyond.
