The client, Mr. Khalil, owns a Pharmaceutical business. He wanted an office that could be his executive space — a personal office, waiting room and a meeting room.

To maximize the space and also make it inspiring for the people working there, we took on a very minimal approach, playing with white color, wooden accents, straight lines, and a seamless design that could accentuate the natural light in the space.

One design challenge that we faced was that the building itself had very bad internal columns. However, we used them to our benefit as they were used as backdrops for the personal, making them integrated design elements.

The chandelier was installed in the meeting room to give out the exuberant feel of the executive office. The slit window from the entrance gives a glimpse into the meeting room, and gives an instant “wow” feeling just as one enters the space.

To make the space look bigger yet also maintain privacy, the outlook of both meeting room and personal office is kept the same, yet they are divided through a glass window that can be covered up through the blinds when need be.
