The clients wanted this to be their retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Identifying the vastness of the location, we realized there was no need to go overboard with construction, rather, just careful usage of materials and divisions to make a smooth, soothing experience.

The ideology that we came up with for the project was making portals through the effective use of walls. Each unit enjoys its views and its privacy. We called it “the connected independence”.

The farmhouse was designed for 3 smaller families with each its porch, garden, and sitting spaces. The swimming pool serves as a central meeting point for all. The idea was always about looking grand but at the same time looking connected to their roots. This was achieved through materials such as stone and mud plaster.

The front informal garden is populated by its flora and fauna, making it an interactive and intriguing experience while entering it.
